Let’s summarise the 10th, jubilee edition of Folk Inspirations

Beginning our 11th edition of Folk Inspirations, it is worth summarizing the jubilee-tenth edition. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, it was extraordinary time and a great challenge due to the conditions present at that time. Now, however, we can proudly say – we made it!

As a part of the festival, there were as many as 31 events, carried out online as well as in traditional form, embracing such disciplines as: music, dance, singing, theatre, photo and design.

We had the opportunity to meet during  concerts, performances, workshops, exhibitions and trips. We hosted 658 participants, 50 volunteers cooperated with us, we shared our skills, talent and good energy. During our events in Manufaktura, Rubinstein’s Passage and our Youth Centre in Łódź, we were visited by over 2,500 people, always in compliance with the sanitary regime.

We also managed to create a separate branch of the Festival on the web. Golden Boat competitions in all categories  and some of the previously planned performances and concerts with the participation of foreign artists took place online. Our guests did not disappoint us, we received great video and photo materials, we also connected live with our participants from many countries in the world: Algeria, Belarus, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Palestine, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Italy. During the whole Festival, over 22 thousand people visited us online.

This tenth- jubilee edition taught us a lot and we are going to use this knowledge this year, hoping that we will be able to meet in person again and have fun during our activities.
